Dr. George Zanaros is a board eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon.
His areas of expertise include reconstruction and arthroscopic treatment of hand, wrist,
elbow, and shoulder injuries. He also specializes in elbow and
shoulder replacement surgery. His practice includes general orthopaedics and
orthopaedic trauma.
Dr. Zanaros is a native of the capital district.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and his Medical Degree
from Albany Medical College. He then completed his general surgery internship and
orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center.
He received fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at
Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Zanaros is a member and candidate fellow of the following professional societies:
- American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
- American Society for Surgery of the Hand
- New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons
Dr. Zanaros is affiliated with Albany Medical Center, St. Peter's Hospital,
Albany Memorial Hospital, and the Capital Region Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Dr. Zanaros sees patients at the

Clifton Park offices.
